Simon's death in chapter nine is very upsetting. How could the boys possibly be so vicious?

The first reason boys become vicious is fear of something or someone. If people are afraid by themselves, then they find violence inside them, but if people are together and are afraid then they find violence inside them.

Kids will eventually turn to violence if there is no one around the children to guide them. Kids need both parents to stay stable says Golding but in this day and age many don't have any parents who support them. Golding also says that all humans are born with the natural instinct to hunt and kill. If young men are by themselves with no rules they will turn to killing. He also says that we act directly from our families so if our families are not stable then the child wont be stable.

Golding thinks kids need to have parents around to raise them right. They need to have stable and responsible parents to become stable and responsible as well. But having really stable and supporting parents isn't that common anymore. So the violent side to kids, which according to Golding, every kid has, is shown more when there are no parental support and rules. Kids need to have rules to be able to stay stable and not turn to violence and killing.

Without parents, children have no one to learn from or to look up to. This turns them in hooligans whose only knowledge is from their natural, violent selves. Golding says that fear and chaos are factors that are proven to cause violence and when these factors are unwillingly pressed onto boys, they turn savage. Lastly, our instincts and genetic makeup come into play when it comes to violence, and maybe the fact of the matter is boys just have more violent tendencies because of evolution.

In chapter nine, Simon is viciously killed by the other boys on the island. In Golding's article "Why Boys Become Vicious" he describes many key points which show influences of their bad behavior. He first says children act directly from their families and if their families are not stable, neither will their actions. Another reason why boys become vicious, Golding says, is because they need both parents to guide them in their right direction. He says that unless kids have the strength of their father and the love of their mother around, it is easier for the child to be more susceptible to violence. Finally, Golding also states that hunting and killing are a humans natural instincts and for it to be easy to return to that type of behavior. In Golding's article "Why Boys Become Vicious" he provides many examples in which why violence is used.

In Goldings article, Why Boys Become Vicious, he states three key points to why Simon was attacked. The first point that Golding makes states that fear can trigger viciousness among boys. And that could lead to one possibility to why Simon was attacked. Another point Golding makes is that a kids family can lead to his actions, for instance if the boy has a bad family he most likely will act the way he is treated. Goldings last point says that it is our instincts are to hunt and to kill, when left on an island without super vision these instincts will come into play a lot more.

In chapter 9, Simon is attacked and killed by the other boys on the island and William Golding’s “Why Boys Become Vicious” can lead us to the reasoning behind it. Golding says chaos leads children to violence. At the time Simon is killed, there is a corruption in their society which would explain his death. He also says fear instills violence in children and the boys on the island were fearful the beast was coming to kill them. Last, Golding says it is our natural instinct to hunt and kill which would be relevant to the death since they were stranded on an island.

As the boys' insanIty begins to dwindle in their society on the island, the insanity flourishes. Golding, the author, displays 3 main reasons for their loss of control. He believes fear is the reason that sparked the outrage. In the book, once the littluns have declared a possibility of a beast in the forest, most Of the boys panic. Later on in the story, chaos erupts once they are the "beast" emerge from the forest, unknowingly Simon is the creature. The boys create a ritual and devious chant which induces them to kill Simin. And lastly, Golding

Blames the absence of adults for the disorderly behavior. When parents are not around the boys rebel and lose all sense of control because they are not sheltered by love or any masculinity to look up to.

the first reason that they would turn to violence is because they have no higher figure to correct them. when there is someone who the kid respects and listens to the kid will be punished or told what he has done wrong. but when that person is nonexistant the kid will not be corrected and the behavior will proceed. the second reason that boys will turn to violence is they fear something or someone. when you fear something that fear controls your actions and thoughts and can caus you to do stuff you wouldnt normally do. a good example of this is when the group accidently kills simon because they thought he was the beast. then the final factor is the kids dont get love from their fwmilies so they need to find something to fill that gap. also thry have nothing to lose or family to worry about.

In William Golding article "why boys become vicious" there are three key points. the first reason boys become vicious is because they do not have a higher authority above them to help guide them. Second, our old ancestors were hunters and killers so the boys may become vicious because of this thought of hunting and killing as an instinct. lastly Golding talks about how the kids need a father and mother figure to help them and to guide them thought their childhood.

The first key point in William Golding's article, "Why Boys Become Vicious" is because they don't have the authority of a parent to keep hem from doing the wrong thing. The second key point is that when fear is present, boys will discover their inner violence, especially when they are in groups. The third reason he gives is that if a child does not have a good support system, he can turn violent. if kid is not raised properly, that piece of evil which he says we all have inside will take control.

William Golding's article, "Why Boys Become Vicious", is to make it easier to understand why Simon is killed the way he is in Chapter 9 of Lord of The Flies. One main point in the article is whether or not we are born like this. The author argues that we could be born with this cruelty, or if we gradually develop it as we grow older. A second main point is that the conditions of cruelty are chaos and fear. He gives examples such as wars and gangs. Finally, a third main point is the cruelty can be show in children. If parents do not guide their children in the right direction, they can be very powerful.

In the article it says that if boys have no guidance than it can lead them to feeling frightened. These fears can lead them to doing horrible things. Obviously the boys on the island are left with no parental guidance. Another reason is because they are male; the article says that boys have a history of hunting more than woman do so it is in their instincts to want to kill. He believes though, that every human being has evil built inside of them. He thinks that children need both a mother and a father because the father will provide strength and the mothers will provide love. On the island not only do the boys lack adult guidance but they also lack female guidance.

In holding article, he shows how people can be as vicous a the boys were in his book "Lord of the Flies." Golding states many reasons why people can become this vicous. First is, that the boys will act based on how their family acts. If the family is a very violent family, then the boys will be violent. It would be the same if the family is very kind.

Another reason that people can become this violent is if they don't have both their parents. If the boys dOnt have the love of their mom, and the strength of their dad, they can become like this. The final reason is that people are natural hunters. It is what we always did a while ago. That is why we can become this vicous in golding's mind
